Want to trade homes in October?

I grew up on the beach in Southern California and after nearly 10 years living in the midwest, I really miss the ocean.

Pauls Valley is a truly charming, brick paved, tree lined small town in Central Oklahoma just of Interstate 35 betwen Dallas/Ft. Worth and Oklahoma City where a family or a couple or a group of friends can enjoy clean air, free parking, friendly folk, wineries, train rides, casinos and some of the countries most fascinating attractions. There is so much to see and do for all ages and October is a grand time to visit.

On the other hand, I would personally love to spend a few weeks right on the beach. Are any of you with a home where you can walk on to sand at the ocean looking for a change?  I am asking that we talk about this opportunity and what you would enjoy doing.

Here in Autumn, the trees are in full color, the pecans are falling on the ground, and the weather is perfect. I would be happy to arrange for you to meet people of your age and make certain you have the perfect itinerary.

We could trade homes. I will take care of yours and you can take care of mine.

Please let me know if this idea is of interest to you. info@greatersuccess.com

A wonderful 4 minute television show about Pecan Cottage done by Katie Kurtz of www.oklavision.tv. Worth the time to watch.

Two (2) Big stories today

Hi friends,

Today was a really BIG media day for Pecan Cottage B & B in Pauls Valley. OklaVision Live aired the feature Katie Kurtz filmed a couple weeks ago. And Pauls Valley Daily Democrat had an article about us, too.

The OklaVision story can be seen at www.oklavision.tv. Just go to Program Guide for Sept. 16. Soon it will be available for me to put on the website and facebook page.

The local newspaper article can be found at http://paulsvalleydailydemocrat.com/communitynews/x1561142485/Semi-retired-but-staying-busy

I sincerely hope this additional exposure will show you gals (in particular) how much fun a Chick Trip at Pecan Cottage just off I-35 in Pauls Valley Oklahoma, either relaxing or shopping; hitting the casinos, art galleries or winetasting; antiquing, scrapbooking; or all of the above.

No matter how you travel – by car or by Amtrak; fly in to the local airport or into OKC and rent a car – it is a journey of memory making with your best girl friends.

Your friend and hostess,
Susen Foster

Katie Kurtz visited Pecan Cottage

Hi my friends,
Today was cool. Well, not really cool, cool – but awesome cool. Katie Kurtz from OklaVision.net came to Pecan Cottage in Pauls Valley to interview me and to film the Bed & Breakfast. She was there for almost two and a half hours. I don’t think she missed much, including Planet Earth Jewelry. She even picked out a gorgeous piece to take home. I know she will love it and her friends will be jealous.
She didn’t have an air date as of yet, but I will keep you all posted. She said we would even be able to link it to the website so those who miss it live can check it out anytime.
I think she was very impressed with the Chick Trip concept and the fact that Pecan Cottage is so comfortable; a really welcoming place to make your home base with your gal friends. And she may have been a little surprised that there was so much to do in a 30 minute radius of here – like casinos, wineries, chocolate, antiques, galleries and great shopping, boat rentals, golf, 4 wheeler rentals, and the Chickasaw Cultural Center – so much to do; so little time.
I also introduced her to the Heartland Flyer and how much fun it is to take the train on your Chick Trip, plus all the great packages available at www.heartlandflyer.com.
She agreed that after a few days at Pecan Cottage, everyone would go home feeling rested, refreshed and back in touch with themselves. That’s the whole idea.
Watch for an update,
Susen Foster
